Trade Union Confederations

Trade Union Confederations are organizations that unite various trade unions within a country or region to strengthen their collective voice. They advocate for workers' rights, better wages, improved working conditions, and social justice. By pooling resources and coordinating efforts, these confederations can negotiate more effectively with employers and influence government policies on labor issues. Examples include the AFL-CIO in the United States and the Trades Union Congress (TUC) in the UK. Essentially, they work to protect and advance the interests of workers at a broader level than individual unions can achieve on their own.
