TOTE Model
The TOTE model stands for Test-Operate-Test-Exit and is a framework for understanding how people or systems control behavior. It involves setting a goal, then testing if the current situation matches it. If not, adjustments are made (operate) until the goal is reached. Once the goal is achieved, the process exits. It helps explain how ongoing monitoring and adjustments help us stay on track with our objectives, whether in personal habits, problem-solving, or automation systems.
