Tlacopan
Tlacopan was a significant city-state in the Valley of Mexico and a member of the Triple Alliance, which included Tenochtitlán and Texcoco. It played a crucial role during the Aztec Empire, contributing to its political and military strength. Tlacopan, known for its strategic location and resources, was involved in trade and alliances that helped sustain the power of the Aztecs. Following Spanish conquest in the early 16th century, Tlacopan's prominence diminished, but it remains an important part of Mesoamerican history as a hub of culture and trade in pre-Columbian times.
