Titan Atmosphere
Titan's atmosphere is a thick, hazy envelope surrounding Saturn's largest moon, primarily composed of nitrogen with small amounts of methane and other organic molecules. It is dense enough to support a persistent orange haze, which scatters sunlight and gives Titan a distinctive appearance. This atmosphere is cold and complex, hosting chemical reactions that create organic compounds, similar to early Earth conditions. Despite its thick cover, Titan's atmosphere lacks oxygen and is far colder than Earth's, making it a unique environment for studying chemistry and potential prebiotic processes in the outer solar system.
