Tintoretto

Tintoretto, born Jacopo Robusti in 1518 in Venice, was a prominent Italian painter of the Renaissance known for his dynamic compositions and dramatic use of light and shadow. Often referred to as "Il Furioso" for his energetic brushwork, he sought to evoke emotion and movement in his works. Tintoretto's notable pieces include "The Last Supper" and "The Crucifixion." He blended elements of Michelangelo's sculptural figures and Titian's color, which allowed him to create powerful narratives.
