Tiered Instruction

Tiered instruction is a teaching approach that offers different levels of support and challenge within the same lesson, based on students’ individual needs. Rather than teaching everyone the same way, teachers group students by their understanding or skills and provide targeted activities or assignments for each group. This allows advanced learners to be challenged more, while students who need extra help get additional support. The goal is to ensure all students can learn effectively, progressing at their own pace within a cohesive learning environment.
