Thunderstorm

A thunderstorm is a weather event characterized by the rapid development of clouds called cumulonimbus, which produce lightning, thunder, heavy rain, and sometimes hail or strong winds. It occurs when warm, moist air rises rapidly into cooler regions of the atmosphere, causing condensation and the formation of storm clouds. The process builds electrical charges within the cloud, resulting in lightning. The sound of lightning creates thunder. Thunderstorms can vary in intensity and may lead to localized hazards like flooding, wind damage, or power outages. They are common in many parts of the world, especially during warm seasons.
