Threshold Training

Threshold training is a type of exercise designed to improve your endurance and speed by working at a level just below your maximum effort—known as your "lactate threshold." This means you’re pushing yourself hard enough to challenge your muscles, but not so hard that you can’t maintain that effort for an extended period. Typically, this involves sustained activity like running or cycling at a vigorous pace for a set time. Over time, it helps your body become better at clearing out fatigue-related substances, allowing you to perform at higher intensities for longer durations.
