Three Treasures
The Three Treasures, in traditional Chinese philosophy, refer to Jing (Essence), Qi (Vital Energy), and Shen (Spirit). Jing is our foundational life essence inherited from parents, responsible for growth and reproduction. Qi is the vital energy that keeps the body functional, fueling movement, digestion, and overall activity. Shen represents the mind, consciousness, and spiritual well-being, influencing mental clarity and emotional health. Maintaining balance among these three treasures is believed to promote health, longevity, and spiritual harmony, serving as a core principle in practices like traditional Chinese medicine and Taoist philosophy.
