THON

THON is an annual fundraising event organized by students at Penn State University to support pediatric cancer patients and their families. It is one of the largest student-run philanthropic events in the world, lasting 46 hours, where participants dance, stay awake, and engage in activities to raise awareness and funds for the Four Diamonds Fund. This organization covers medical expenses and offers support services for children with cancer. THON unites students, alumni, and the community, emphasizing compassion, perseverance, and hope while celebrating the lives of those affected by childhood cancer.
