Thomas H. Arne

Thomas H. Arne was an important English composer from the 18th century, best known for his work in vocal music, particularly his anthems and operas. Born in 1710, he gained fame for his setting of the patriotic song "Rule, Britannia!" which became a symbol of British pride. Arne was influential in the development of English opera and is recognized for integrating various musical styles.
