Thermosetting polymer

Thermosetting polymers are a type of plastic that, once formed and hardened through heat or a chemical process, cannot be reshaped or melted again. This unique property makes them strong and durable, making them ideal for applications such as electrical insulators, automotive parts, and kitchenware. Unlike thermoplastics, which can be reheated and molded multiple times, thermosetting polymers maintain their shape and strength under high temperatures. Examples include epoxy resins and bakelite. Their ability to withstand heavy use without deforming is what makes them valuable in various industrial and consumer products.
