Theories of Revolt
Theories of revolt explore why and how people rise against authority or oppressive systems. Key ideas include socio-economic factors, where inequality and poverty fuel discontent; political grievances, where lack of freedom or representation drives people to revolt; and cultural identity, where groups unite against perceived threats to their identity. Theories also consider psychological aspects, such as collective frustration. Often, a combination of these factors leads to revolutionary movements, as individuals and communities seek change through protest, rebellion, or war to address their grievances and advocate for a better future.
