Theological pacifism

Theological pacifism is the belief that violence and war are inherently incompatible with religious teachings. Followers advocate for peace, viewing Jesus Christ's teachings, such as love for enemies and the rejection of violence, as central principles. They often believe that participating in war or harming others contradicts their faith in a loving and forgiving God. Theological pacifists may seek nonviolent solutions to conflict, emphasizing dialogue, forgiveness, and compassion instead of aggression. This perspective is based on the idea that true faith manifests in peace and actively works to uphold justice through nonviolent means.
