The Weather Project

The Weather Project is an art installation created by Olafur Eliasson that was displayed at Tate Modern in London. It simulates a sun and sky inside a large, darkened hall using light, mist, and a giant disk to represent the sun. Visitors experience an immersive environment that evokes natural weather phenomena. The installation aims to encourage reflection on human perceptions of nature and our relationship with the environment, fostering an appreciation for the beauty and complexity of weather and light. It invites people to consider their experiences within the natural world in a new and engaging way.
