The Unabomber (Ted Kaczynski)

The Unabomber, Ted Kaczynski, is an American domestic terrorist known for carrying out a nationwide bombing campaign from 1978 to 1995. He targeted people involved with modern technology and industrial society, believing that technological progress harmed humanity. Kaczynski's homemade bombs killed three people and injured 23 others. He evaded capture for years, living in a remote cabin in Montana. In 1996, he was arrested after his manifesto, "Industrial Society and Its Future," was published, arguing against modernity. Kaczynski was sentenced to life in prison without parole, becoming a symbol of extremist anti-technology ideology.
