The Time Bank Network

The Time Bank Network is a community-based system where people exchange services using time as currency. Essentially, one hour of volunteer work is equivalent to one hour of services received, regardless of the type of work. For example, if you help someone with gardening for an hour, you earn one "time credit" that you can use to receive one hour of help in another area, like tutoring or dog walking. This model fosters mutual support, empowers communities, and encourages social interaction while allowing individuals to contribute their skills and benefit from others’ expertise.
