The Third Reich
The Third Reich was Nazi Germany, led by Adolf Hitler from 1933 to 1945. It was a totalitarian regime that promoted extreme nationalism, racism, and anti-Semitism, aiming to establish a racially “pure” German empire. The regime used propaganda, secret police, and military force to control the population and suppress opposition. It initiated World War II by invading countries across Europe and was responsible for the Holocaust, the systematic genocide of six million Jews and millions of other victims. The Third Reich ended with Germany's defeat in 1945, leaving a legacy of destruction and human suffering.
