Eva Braun

Eva Braun was the long-time companion and wife of Adolf Hitler, the leader of Nazi Germany. Born in 1912, she became close to Hitler in the 1920s. Despite her association with one of history's most infamous figures, she largely stayed out of the political spotlight and lived a sheltered life. Braun and Hitler married in the Führerbunker in Berlin on April 29, 1945, just a day before their deaths. They both committed suicide together as Allied forces were closing in on the city, marking a tragic end to their lives and the Nazi regime.
