the Templar Castle of Chateau Pelerin

Château Pèlerin, also known as the Templar Castle of Atlit, was built in the late 12th century by the Knights Templar in what is now Israel. Strategically located on the Mediterranean coast, it served as a fortified stronghold during the Crusades. The castle featured impressive walls, towers, and a moat, designed to protect Templar interests and Christian pilgrims. After the fall of Acre in 1291, it was captured by the Mamluks.
