The T2K Collaboration

The T2K Collaboration is an international group of scientists working together to study neutrinos—tiny, nearly massless particles that pass through matter almost undetected. They send a beam of neutrinos from Japan's J-PARC facility to a detector 290 kilometers away to observe how these particles change in flavor over that distance. This research helps scientists understand fundamental questions about the universe, including why matter exists more than antimatter.
