The STEM Equity Project

The STEM Equity Project is an initiative aimed at increasing participation and success of underrepresented groups—such as women, minorities, and low-income students—in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields. It works to identify and address barriers these groups face, promote inclusive teaching practices, and create supportive learning environments. By fostering equitable access to STEM education and careers, the project seeks to diversify these fields, enhance innovation, and ensure all individuals have opportunities to contribute to scientific and technological advancements.
