The Steady State Universe

The steady state universe is a model suggesting that the universe has no beginning or end and maintains a constant overall appearance over time. As the universe expands, new matter is continuously created to fill the gaps, keeping the density consistent. This means the universe looks roughly the same everywhere and at all times, despite its ongoing expansion. Unlike the big bang theory, which proposes a specific starting point, the steady state model emphasizes eternal existence with unchanging large-scale properties, though it has fallen out of favor due to observational evidence supporting the big bang.
