The Seekers

The Seekers were an Australian folk music group formed in 1962. They gained international fame in the 1960s with hits like "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing" and "The Carnival Is Over." The group consisted of singers Judith Durham, Athol Guy, Keith Potger, and Bruce Woodley. They are known for their harmonious vocals and blend of traditional folk with popular music. Their success helped popularize Australian music worldwide, and they remain a beloved part of Australia’s cultural history. The Seekers broke up in 1968 but reunited in later years for tours and special performances.
