The Reality of Time
The reality of time is both straightforward and complex. In everyday life, we experience time as a linear progression—past, present, and future. However, in physics, particularly in Einstein's theory of relativity, time is intertwined with space, forming a four-dimensional fabric called spacetime. This means time can stretch and contract depending on speed and gravity. For example, time moves slightly slower for someone on a mountain than for someone at sea level. Ultimately, while we perceive time consistently, it behaves differently in the universe's extremes, revealing it as a more intricate concept than our daily experiences suggest.
