A Series and B Series
A Series and B Series are concepts in understanding how we perceive time. The A Series relates to the subjective flow of time—past, present, and future—highlighting the importance of "now" and how events seem to move from future to past. The B Series views time objectively as a fixed series of events ordered by earlier and later, existing independently of our perception. Think of the A Series as the feeling of time passing, and the B Series as viewing events on a timeline. Both help explain different aspects of how we experience and model time.
