The Pluralism Project

The Pluralism Project is an initiative, primarily led by Harvard University, that aims to study and promote understanding of the diverse religious and cultural landscape in the United States. Founded by Professor Diana Eck in the 1990s, it focuses on the lived experiences of various faiths and communities, highlighting the importance of pluralism—a society where multiple beliefs coexist respectfully. The project gathers research, creates educational resources, and supports interfaith dialogue to foster tolerance and engagement among different groups, ultimately aiming to enrich American society through its diversity.
