The OODA Loop
The OODA Loop is a decision-making process developed by military strategist John Boyd. It stands for Observe, Orient, Decide, and Act. First, you Observe your environment to gather information. Next, you Orient yourself by analyzing the data and considering your situation. Then, you Decide on a course of action based on your analysis. Finally, you Act on that decision. The loop is continuous; after acting, you again observe the results, adjusting your understanding and approach as necessary. This method helps individuals and organizations adapt quickly to changing circumstances, enhancing their effectiveness in dynamic environments.
