The Law of Robotics
The Law of Robotics refers to a set of ethical guidelines created by author Isaac Asimov that govern how robots should behave. The most famous version includes three primary rules: 1) A robot cannot harm a human or allow a human to come to harm; 2) A robot must obey orders from humans unless it conflicts with the first rule; 3) A robot must protect its own existence as long as it does not conflict with the first two rules. These principles are designed to ensure that robots behave safely and ethically in their interactions with humans.
