The Land Bridge Theory

The Land Bridge Theory suggests that during the last Ice Age, around 20,000 years ago, the sea levels were much lower due to significant amounts of water being trapped in glaciers. This created a land bridge known as Beringia, connecting Asia and North America across the Bering Strait. It’s believed that humans and animals migrated from Asia to North America using this bridge. As the climate warmed and the ice melted, the land bridge was submerged, isolating the populations that had crossed into the Americas. This theory helps explain the initial human settlement in North America.
