The Interstellar Comet 'Oumuamua

‘Oumuamua is the first known object from outside our solar system to pass through it, detected in 2017. Its name means “scout” in Hawaiian. It appeared as a cigar-shaped, reddish, diffusing object with an unusual acceleration pattern that couldn’t be explained by gravity alone. This led to various theories, including the possibility of it being a fragment from a larger system or even an artificial craft. However, most scientists believe it’s a natural icy or rocky body ejected from a distant star system. Its unexpected journey offers valuable insights into the composition and behavior of other solar systems.
