The Gifts of the Holy Spirit

The Gifts of the Holy Spirit are abilities granted to believers to empower them for service and spiritual growth. Traditionally, there are seven gifts: Wisdom (seeing things from God's perspective), Understanding (grasping deep truths), Counsel (making right decisions), Fortitude (courage in adversity), Knowledge (insight into faith and life), Piety (a deep sense of reverence), and Fear of the Lord (awe and respect for God). These gifts help individuals live more fully in accordance with their faith and contribute positively to their communities.
