The End of History

"The End of History" is a philosophical concept proposed by political scientist Francis Fukuyama after the Cold War, suggesting that liberal democracy may represent the final form of human government. He argued that the ideological conflicts that shaped history would give way to a universal acceptance of democracy and capitalist values, marking an endpoint in ideological evolution. While not implying that historical events would cease, Fukuyama believed this transitional phase would lead to global stability, as democracy and economic development spread, ultimately satisfying human aspirations for freedom and equality.
