The Disappearance of DB Cooper

D.B. Cooper is the alias of an unidentified man who, in 1971, hijacked a commercial airplane in the United States. He demanded a ransom of $200,000 and specific parachutes. After receiving the money, he instructed the crew to fly to Mexico City. Somewhere over the Pacific Northwest, he parachuted out of the plane with the ransom money and vanished. Despite a massive manhunt and extensive investigations by the FBI, Cooper's identity and fate remain a mystery, making it one of the most famous unsolved cases in American criminal history.
