The Cycle of Seasons

The cycle of seasons results from Earth's tilt on its axis and its orbit around the Sun. As Earth orbits, different parts tilt toward or away from the Sun, causing variations in sunlight and temperature. When the Northern Hemisphere tilts toward the Sun, it experiences summer, while the Southern Hemisphere has winter, and vice versa. During spring and fall, the tilt is less angled toward or away from the Sun, creating milder weather. This regular cycle causes the changing seasons, affecting climate, daylight hours, and ecosystems worldwide.
