The Culture Cycle is a framework that explains how an organization’s shared beliefs and behaviors develop and influence each other. It consists of four interconnected stages: underlying values influence beliefs, which shape assumptions; assumptions guide behaviors, and these behaviors reinforce or evolve the underlying values. This continuous cycle helps organizations maintain their identity or adapt over time, ensuring that their culture aligns with goals and environment. Understanding this cycle allows leaders to intentionally shape or change organizational culture through targeted actions at each stage.
