Founded in 2011, it aimed to support women in technology through mentorship, education, and advocacy. By providing resources, organizing events, and promoting inclusive practices, the initiative worked to create a more welcoming environment for women in these fields. Named after Ada Lovelace, a pioneer in computer science, the initiative emphasized the importance of diversity in tech to foster innovation and ensure that technology reflects the needs of all users. It ceased operations in 2015.
