Test matches

Test matches are the longest format of cricket, played between two international teams. Each match is held over five days, with each team batting twice, known as innings. The aim is to score more runs than the opposing team. Teams can declare their innings and are also allowed to be "out" in various ways, such as being bowled or caught. Test matches emphasize strategy, endurance, and skill, and are regarded as the ultimate test of a team's ability, with official Test status granted by the International Cricket Council (ICC).
