The Tennessee Titans are a professional American football team based in Nashville, Tennessee. They are part of the National Football League (NFL) and compete in the league's American Football Conference (AFC) South division. Established in 1960, the team originally played in Houston, Texas, as the Houston Oilers before relocating to Nashville in 1997 and adopting the Titans name in 1999. The team's colors are navy blue, Titans blue, and white. The Titans play their home games at Nissan Stadium and have a passionate fan base, having reached the Super Bowl once in 1999.
