Tea Types
Tea types mainly come from the Camellia sinensis plant, but differ based on processing methods. Green tea is minimally processed, retaining its green color and fresh flavor. Black tea is fully fermented, resulting in a darker color and a stronger, bolder taste. Oolong tea is partially fermented, offering a balance between green and black tea’s characteristics. White tea is gently dried with minimal processing, providing a delicate and subtle flavor. Pu-erh tea undergoes fermentation and aging, often developing complex, earthy notes. These variations give each tea a unique profile, reflecting different flavors, aromas, and health benefits.
