Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) is a set of medical guidelines designed to provide efficient and effective emergency care to wounded soldiers in combat situations. It emphasizes three main phases: Care Under Fire, where lifesaving measures are administered while under threat; Tactical Field Care, which occurs once the environment is secure; and Combat Casualty Evacuation, focusing on safe transport to higher care facilities. TCCC prioritizes quickly stopping severe bleeding, maintaining airway function, and minimizing the risk of further injury, ensuring that individuals receive critical care in high-stress, unpredictable environments.
