Tachelhit

Tachelhit is a Berber language spoken mainly in southwestern Morocco, particularly in the Atlas Mountains and Souss Valley. It belongs to the Afro-Asiatic language family and has its own unique grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. Tachelhit is used in daily communication, cultural practices, and oral traditions among the Amazigh (Berber) communities. Although it has a rich oral history, it is often written using the Latin or Tifinagh script. Recognized as an important part of Morocco's cultural heritage, Tachelhit plays a vital role in preserving Amazigh identity and traditions.
