Tabun
Tabun is a highly toxic chemical weapon classified as a nerve agent. It was developed in the 1930s and works by disrupting the normal functioning of the nervous system, leading to respiratory failure and death. Exposure can occur through inhalation, skin contact, or ingestion, and symptoms include difficulty breathing, convulsions, and loss of consciousness. Tabun is odorless and colorless, making it particularly dangerous. Due to its lethal effects and potential for mass harm, it is banned under international law, although concerns remain about its use in conflicts and by terrorist organizations.
