Suu Kyi’s Five-point Roadmap
Suu Kyi's Five-point Roadmap is a strategic plan proposed in 2003 for Myanmar's political transition. It includes: 1) national reconciliation to unite various ethnic groups; 2) establishing a new constitution to enhance democracy; 3) fostering a genuine multi-party system; 4) promoting human rights and rule of law; and 5) supporting socio-economic development. The roadmap aims to steer Myanmar towards a more democratic, peaceful, and prosperous future, following decades of military rule. Suu Kyi, a key figure in this movement, advocates for dialogue and cooperation among the country’s diverse populations.
