Supplemental Claim Process

The Supplemental Claim process allows Veterans to submit additional evidence or information to support a previously denied benefit claim with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). If new, relevant evidence becomes available after a claim is denied, a Veteran can request a Supplemental Claim to reconsider the decision. This process involves submitting the new evidence and the appropriate forms, after which the VA reviews the case again.
