Sunni schools of thought
The Sunni schools of thought are different legal and theological traditions within Sunni Islam, developed over centuries to interpret Islamic teachings. The four main schools—Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi’i, and Hanbali—share core beliefs but differ in how they apply religious laws and principles. These schools reflect regional and cultural variations, guiding aspects like worship, ethics, and community laws. Despite differences, they all uphold the Quran and Prophet Muhammad's traditions as foundational. Essentially, Sunni schools provide diverse but united approaches to practicing and understanding Islam within a shared faith.
