Structure and Semiotics

Structure refers to the organized framework or arrangement of elements within a system, such as how parts of a story, language, or design are connected to create meaning. Semiotics is the study of signs and symbols and how they communicate messages, whether through words, images, or objects. Together, they examine how meaning is built through the relationships and patterns of signs within a structured system. For example, in language, words (signs) have meaning because of their place in grammar and context (structure), and semiotics analyzes how these signs convey messages.
