Steam-powered vehicles
Steam-powered vehicles use a steam engine to generate motion. Water is heated in a boiler until it turns into steam, which then expands rapidly, pushing pistons or turbines. This mechanical movement is transferred to wheels or tracks, propelling the vehicle forward. Historically, steam vehicles, such as locomotives and early cars, were essential in transportation before internal combustion engines became dominant. While they are mostly obsolete today, they exemplify how heat energy can be converted into mechanical work, and they played a key role in industrial development and mobility advancements.
