Steady state
Steady State refers to a condition in which a system remains consistent over time, with key parameters maintaining constant values despite ongoing processes. This concept is often used in various fields, such as ecology to describe a balanced ecosystem, or economics to depict a stable economy where production and consumption are equal over the long term. In physics and engineering, it can refer to a system where inputs and outputs are balanced. Essentially, in a steady state, things may keep happening, but the overall state of the system doesn’t change.
