State of Qin
The State of Qin was an ancient Chinese state that emerged during the Warring States Period (475–221 BCE). Located in what is now northwestern China, Qin was initially a smaller kingdom but grew powerful through military strength, strategic reforms, and agricultural development. Its leaders standardized weights, measures, and writing, which helped unify its people and improve governance. Qin ultimately conquered other states, leading to the end of the Warring States Period and the unification of China under Emperor Qin Shi Huang in 221 BCE. Qin's legacy includes establishing the foundation for a centralized Chinese empire.
